Qualificações

Overview

A career in the Risk Management internal team, within Tax & Legal Line of Services (TLS) will provide you with the opportunity to support TLS business teams in maintaining high-quality risk management compliance, meeting both PwC Network and Portuguese regulatory or other standards. Working on daily R&Q challenges will enhance both the team's performance and your understanding of PwC's risk and independence requirements.

The role is to support and control the compliance of risk and quality rules/policies imposed both by the Network and locally, contributing to the maintenance of the Firm's standards and reputation. You will assist with daily risk management queries and help business teams follow internal and Network rules to boost compliance, generating quality and improving compliance levels which are crucial for the continuity of the PwC brand. We also expect you to help enhance the use of technology on R&Q matters/tasks. During your work, you will be able to share insights with the Risk Management teams of other Lines of Service (LoS) and the central teams, including KYC/AML and the Audit Independence. It is not a client facing role. Our client is PwC.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to daily R&Q inquiries from both business teams and the TLS Business Support teams;
  • Liaise with central or other LoS Risk Management teams when necessary to resolve issues or share information;
  • Perform required and optional audit tests to ensure risk compliance;
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting audit processes, findings, conclusions, and recommendations, for review by senior team members;
  • Support the monitoring and follow-up of recommendations and corrective actions;
  • Maintain and update Risk Management information on the intranet tool;
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Risk Management annual plan, including the preparation of the Annual Risk Management Network Report;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement automation best practices to enhance efficiency;
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Your Profile
  • We welcome applicants holding a degree in any academic subject, who demonstrate interest in Risk Management;
  • Experience in risk management, compliance, or audit is a plus;
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, independence, and objectivity in all tasks;
  • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to process, manage and analyse data with integrity and accountability;
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, planning and time management abilities, consistently meeting deadlines and paying close attention to detail;
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, in Portuguese and English;
  • Work effectively both independently and as a part of a team, showing responsibility and adaptability;
  • Proficiency in MS Office. Experience with data analysis tools is considered an asset;
  • Eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic risk management environment.
