Junior Librarian

Our library in Almada is seeking a Junior Librarian to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about books and eager to gain experience in the field of library science.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cataloging new books and materials
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of shelves
• Assist patrons with locating materials and answering reference questions
• Process incoming and outgoing loans of materials
• Participate in collection development activities
• Provide basic computer assistance to patrons
• Help plan and implement library events and programs

Requirements

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month. Accommodation can also be provided for the right candidate.
