Synopsys Inc. in Portugal is seeking a hands-on HW validation engineer to join a lab environment with professional instrumentation.

You will build and maintain test automation scripts, analyze validation data, and apply AI/ML techniques to improve data processing of large test campaigns. You will work alongside experienced hardware engineers, reading schematics, debugging issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of test processes and lab workflows, delivering reliable, reproducible

Qualificações

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or network analyzers.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret component functions.
• Programming or scripting in Python or MATLAB for data processing.
• Experience with data analysis libraries in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or exposure to machine learning.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain test automation scripts that execute validation sequences and collect data.
• Analyze validation data to identify trends, performance characteristics, and anomalies.
• Learn to apply AI and machine learning techniques to improve data processing from test campaigns.
• Debug hardware issues using lab instrumentation to understand system behavior.
• Maintain the database infrastructure required to support test data collection.
• Set up and document test configurations and validation procedures.
