Job summary

Farfetch is seeking a Junior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a team developing and maintaining B2B applications on the Farfetch Platform. You will work with React, TypeScript, Blazor, .NET, NestJS and GraphQL, learning on the job and gradually taking ownership of tasks.

You will collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver accessible, reliable user experiences while growing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Familiar with React, Blazor or similar frontend frameworks.
• Willingness to learn TypeScript, React, Blazor and .NET ecosystem.
• Strong emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Familiar with Git and basic workflows.
• English communication skills; collaborative, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend features for B2B apps using React, TypeScript and Blazor.
• Contribute to JavaScript/TypeScript and C#/.NET projects with guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering teams for user-friendly experiences.
• Write clean, tested code following engineering practices.
• Build reusable UI components for consistency across apps.
• Integrate frontend with backend services and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Troubleshoot issues and grow technical autonomy.
• Contribute to quality, performance and accessibility improvements.
• Take ownership of tasks and communicate progress.
