A leading technology company in Lisbon is seeking a Junior Solution Architect to join their Solutions Engineering & Presales Department. The candidate will play a crucial role in consultative selling, supporting key accounts and designing solutions that meet specific client needs, particularly in the cybersecurity domain. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding market trends, and acting as a proposal manager. Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering is required.
• Master's in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of OT/IoT and Cloud Cybersecurity is needed.

Overview

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department, as junior solution architect in Portugal. They will focus on a consultative selling becoming eventually the technical reference for key accounts and in charge of designing solutions to solve problems when the standard portoflio does not fit. These tasks will be done under the supervision and guidance of a senior solution architect.

This position reports to the Head of Solutions Architects.

Responsibilities

• The role involves understanding the client's needs and requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping deliver customized solutions to meet their business objectives.
• They design and develop solutions (i.e., consultative selling) in close alignment with presales consultants that: meet customer requirements, are feasible, are cost-effective, and are aligned with the company's products and services.
• They act as proposal managers (more info later) for selected clients and solutions. They will have to deal with Delivery in Iberia and with other Thales' entities and potential subcontractors to develop the proposal. This implies designing the solution, its cost model, developing the proposal, leading the defence workshops, ensuring bid management process is followed, etc.
• They have a broad knowledge on all company’s products and services. Therefore, they play a major role in cross selling strategies.
• They foster selected customers’ demand to achieve growth objectives, by supporting account managers and helping prioritize solution development. This requires a very close and direct relationship with selected accounts.
• They gather and analyze data to help the sales team understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape to improve the sales pitch, as well as to develop a roadmap for nominated clients.
