Job summary

Lexidy Group is seeking a Corporate Legal Advisor to guide clients through corporate and labour matters in Portugal, collaborating with Tax, Immigration, and Real Estate teams. You will advise on corporate operations, licensing, and contract work, while supporting startups and entrepreneurs across Portugal.

The role emphasizes flexible, hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto, a proactive client-centric approach, and a drive to innovate with digital tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Law degree in Portugal
• Registered in a Portuguese Bar Association (mandatory)
• 1–3 years of experience in corporate and labour law, regulatory and related fields
• Strong ability to provide strategic legal guidance to clients
• Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and with other departments
• Collaborative, flexible, and positive attitude with willingness to learn
• Fluent in English; Portuguese a plus
• Interest in digital tools and process automation

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice, planning, and execution for corporate operations (companies, NGOs)
• Lead and handle client meetings, managing leads and contributing to growth
• Support both companies and individual entrepreneurs throughout corporate and labour journey in Portugal
• Organise, track, and maintain client cases and files with timely communication
• Manage relationships with third-party entities and coordinate legal actions
• Carry out legal and administrative tasks related to the department’s operations
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Conduct feasibility research and provide insights into business operations
• Act as trusted business partner for startups, assisting with company incorporation and licensing
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
• Address day-to-day client queries with a 1-day response timeline

You have:

• A law degree in Portugal.
• Registered in a Portuguese Bar Association (it's a mandatory requirement for this role)
• Proven experience in corporate law, labour law, regulatory and related fields, autonomously handling client cases from start to finish 1 to 3 years.
• Strong ability to provide strategic legal guidance and support to clients.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other departments.
• A collaborative, flexible, and positive can-do attitude - always willing to learn and help steer the team to work well together. Let’s get the job done!
• Passion, energy, and commitment.
• Fluent in English proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Excited and curious about digital tools, process automation and innovation.
