Abroad Work in Braga, Portugal is seeking a highly motivated Junior Construction Manager to assist in planning, organization, and completion of construction projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to budgeting, scheduling, site coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.

You will work under senior management to gain experience in the construction industry, with opportunities for growth as you develop expertise in project management and site

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Procore or PlanGrid is a plus.

Junior Construction Manager

City: Braga, Portugal

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Junior Construction Manager to join our team in Braga. As a Junior Construction Manager, you will work closely with senior management to assist in the planning, organization, and completion of construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to gain experience in the construction industry and has a passion for project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior management in all phases of construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor progress of construction projects and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
• Review and approve subcontractor bids and proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of project documents including contracts, change orders, and invoices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore or PlanGrid is a plus.

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: This position is located in Braga, Portugal. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal.
