Junior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and components under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code, following established development standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the implementation of new features and enhancements based on technical specifications and business requirements.
• Support the integration of software components, APIs, and external systems.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
• Develop and execute unit tests and support integration testing activities.
• Work with databases and implement basic data access and manipulation operations.
• Use version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Follow software development lifecycle practices, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Relevant internships, academic projects, and practical experience will also be valued.
• Good knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: .NET, Java, or Python.
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
• Basic knowledge of software design principles and development best practices.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and software troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to different technical environments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
