Job summary

TransitPro Solutions in Lisbon is seeking an entry-level Dismantler to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles and remove parts for resale or recycling, following company procedures. The role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail and the ability to use a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in dismantling or working with automobiles is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and other dismantling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles according to company standards and procedures.
• Remove parts carefully, ensuring they are not damaged during the process.
• Sort and organize removed parts for resale or recycling.
• Inspect parts for quality and identify any defects or damages.
• Clean, label, and store parts in designated areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using appropriate tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
