Mercer in Lisbon is seeking a Junior Actuarial Analyst to join the Actuarial Valuations team. You will support the Germany Wealth project, interfacing with Germany-based consultants and senior team members.

Based in Lisbon with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office weekly, you will assist in valuations, data processing, regulatory forms, and client reporting while developing actuarial skills in pension plans and retirement areas.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Request, gather, review and upload client data, and assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations, participant statements and/or client listings and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and vended software.
• Reconcile data and assets from previous valuations and prepare summaries of data, assets, and benefits defined in the plan documentation.
• Escalate data or plan questions related to valuations and benefit calculations to more senior analysts.
• Help prepare government forms and our regulatory documentation.
• Perform actuarial calculations.
• Collaborate with client team and project team.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time and to the high standards required.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Actuarial Valuations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Junior Actuarial Analyst you will be an integral part of an exciting project, where we support our Germany Wealth business.

You will be working as part of a team supporting more experienced analysts and project managers in all aspects of the Pension Plans & Retirement area; and work directly and in a daily basis with the Germany-based consultants.

We will count on you to:

• Request, gather, review and upload client data, and assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations, participant statements and/or client listings and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and vended software;
