Junior Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Braga, Portugal. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1700$. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance and will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, analyzing data, and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial statements and reports
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Biometric passport required for international travel as needed
