Aubay Portugal seeks a Senior Java / Full Stack Developer to lead modernization efforts across critical systems. You will analyze, design, and implement modern architectures, including REST APIs and microservices, while applying agile practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to architecture decisions, mentoring peers, and ensuring high-quality software delivery with a focus on scalable, secure solutions.

Qualificações

• 7 to 12 years of proven experience in application development and modernization.
• Proficient in Java versions 7-21, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Experience building robust REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders; English (B2) and French (B1).

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end application modernization initiatives from analysis to implementation.
• Perform in-depth technical analysis, estimate effort, and plan development activities.
• Modernize Java legacy code and design robust REST APIs.
• Transform monolithic applications into scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git/GitLab, and Agile practices.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and provide technical guidance to the team.
