A leading IT solutions provider is seeking a JAVA Tech Lead to join their team in Porto, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java and Spring Boot, and a proven track record in leadership roles. This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring in-office attendance two to three times a week, fostering collaboration while delivering innovative solutions.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6 years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Java (6+ years) and Spring Boot for building scalable applications.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of developers.
• Maintain and develop a system.
• Design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.

JAVA Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers;
• Maintenance and development of a system;
• Design and implement new features and functionalities;
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects;
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code;
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time and within budget;
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Must Have

• Academic Background: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role;
• Languages: Proficiency in Java (6+ years) and Spring Boot for building scalable applications;
• Languages: Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Nice to Have

• Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies for software development and project management;
• Tools: Experience in CI/CD tools and environments to automate testing and deployments;
• Databases: Strong experience with SQL databases, mainly PostgreSQL;
• Framework: Knowledge in Vaadin;
• Minimum 3 years with Git, Jenkins.
