Körber Supply Chain in Portugal is seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer for Material Flow Systems to design, develop and deploy software that controls automated parcel sorting facilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications that improve efficiency and reliability in logistics hubs.

You should have a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/SE or equivalent, strong Java experience (1+ year), and familiarity with Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and OO design.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Java as primary development language with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.
• Experience with other OO languages such as C# or C++.
• Experience developing/deploying applications in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain software applications that control and optimize automated parcel sorting systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support software for major parcel carriers.
• Optimize software for speed and scalability with efficient algorithms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues for a smooth user experience.
