Decskill is growing and seeking a Java Developer to join our team in Portugal. You will develop, enhance, and maintain the Smart Derivatives (iPrice) platform, working with local and international teams in Lisbon, Porto, and Madrid.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java 21+ and Spring Framework expertise.
• Experience with SQL databases and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools Maven, Git, and shell scripting.
• Frontend or full-stack experience with Angular/JQuery is a plus.
• Fluent English required.

• Contribute alongside international development teams in Lisbon and Paris according to business priorities.

We are looking for an Java Developer!

Responsabilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the Smart Derivatives (iPrice) platform.
• Ensure the application meets high standards of quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the Production Support team to manage application releases and ongoing maintenance.
• Work closely with business users to gather and clarify requirements.
• Provide Level 3 (L3) production support when required.
• Contribute alongside international development teams in Lisbon and Paris according to business priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience with Java 21+ and the Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) and SQL.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as Maven, Git, and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with frontend or full-stack development (Angular and/or jQuery is a plus).
• Experience in software testing and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and enhance large, mature codebases.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and collaborative development teams.
• Exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking and knowledge of Cash Equities is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).
