Decskill is growing and seeking a Java Software Developer to join our IT consulting team in Portugal. You will work on legacy application analyses, maintenance, and delivery following internal rules, tests, CI/CD and integration practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and modern tools (Jenkins, Maven, GitLab). Fluent English is required and continuous learning is encouraged.

Qualificações

• Experience with Java and Spring-based applications.
• Knowledge of RESTful services and SOA patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD, tests and code quality tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Analysis of legacy applications.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of developed code.

We are looking for an Java Software Developer!

Responsabilities:

• Analyses of legacy applications.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting of the implemented code.
• Delivery according to internal rules and best practices (Tests, CICD, application integration).
• Creating a good team environment, good team integration and proposing new ideas and good development practices.

Requirements:

• Frameworks Java (Hibernate, Junit, Spring) and Data structure.
• SOA programming, SOAP Webservices and RESTful APIs
• Development tools (JBoss EAP, JBoss, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Gitlab, SonarQube).
• Spring boot and spring cloud.
• Colaborative mindset.
• Proactivity.
• Critical Thinking and Analitichal skills.
• Openness to evolve.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (required).
