WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Work on our Records Management System (RMS) and Booking products, enhancing usability, quality, and the overall feature set;
- Build a cleanly designed, reusable client integration system that adheres to secure cloud software best practices, from start to finish;
- Collaborate with design and product teams to understand requirements, create estimates, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines;
- Plan and accurately estimate construction and delivery timelines;
- Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes aimed at increasing engineering efficiency;
- Mentor junior engineers and help onboard new team members;
- Review code submitted by other engineers and submit your own code for review as part of our pull-request deployment process.

MUST HAVES

- 4+ years of experience in software development for technology companies;
- 3+ years of experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred);
- High level of proficiency in Java OR Java + React, and SQL;
- Knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture;
- A DevOps mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement;
- Direct experience in technical product ownership — building complex features from start to finish;
- Demonstrated experience improving stability, performance, and scalability of complex software platforms and products;
- Self-motivated, passionate, and excited to build and own products end-to-end;
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and consistently deliver high-quality, impactful results;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

- Familiarity with Terraform;
- Familiarity with GCP, AWS;
- Experience developing internal tools for data teams.
