Quanteam in Portugal is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable Java applications, APIs and microservices. Hybrid position based in Lisbon or Porto with 2 days per week in the office.

The role requires strong Java, Spring, REST and SQL skills, experience with Agile teams, and English fluency. Permanent contract with a gross annual salary between 20,000€ and 60,500€, plus health insurance and access to learning programs.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Develop and enhance APIs and microservices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and production incidents.
• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability.
• Contribute to automated testing and CI/CD processes.
