India Abroad in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a skilled JAVA Developer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions for clients.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in CS, at least 2 years in Java, and solid knowledge of SQL databases and web tech (HTML/CSS/JS). Fluent English is expected, Portuguese a plus; the role is on-site in Funchal with no accommodation provided.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team in Funchal Portugal on a contract basis As a JAVA Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month

Key Responsibilities

• Designing coding and testing software solutions using Java programming language
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Identifying and troubleshooting software issues and proposing solutions
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Writing clean efficient and well-documented code

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Fluent in English Portuguese is a plus
