Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS, 3+ years Java experience, OOP mastery, Spring or Hibernate, and DB experience with MySQL/Oracle. Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS is a plus; on-site position with health coverage and growth

We are a rapidly growing software development company based in Faro Portugal and we are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining efficient and high-quality software solutions using the Java programming language.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop technical solutions
• Design code test and debug software applications in Java
• Develop and maintain efficient algorithms and data structures
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in the field of Java development
• Write clean efficient well-documented code that adheres to industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Proficient in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or Oracle
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience developing web applications using HTML CSS and JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position.

Location

This is an on-site position located in Faro Portugal. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Portugal without sponsorship.
