Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Backend/Java Developer in Lisbon to contribute to backend systems, microservices, and cloud-based architectures. You will work on REST APIs, GraphQL and secure auth flows in a collaborative, international team.

The role requires 3–4+ years of relevant experience, strong communication in English, and attention to detail as you help deliver reliable services, integrate with AWS Cloud, and support event-driven messaging infrastructures.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of backend or Java development experience.
• Strong Java, microservices, REST APIs and GraphQL knowledge.
• Experience with authentication/authorization flows.
• Experience with event-driven development and messaging systems.
• AWS Cloud (SQS) experience.
• Good English communication and collaboration skills.
