Consort Portugal seeks a Java Backend Developer to evolve a financial statements referential data platform. You will design backend solutions, ensure data exposure via APIs, and build scalable applications in a hybrid Porto setting.

Requirements include Java 21, Spring, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, microservices, and strong collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. English required; French optional.

Qualificações

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Hybrid role combining technical development and business understanding.
• Experience with third-party data and data governance or data management is a plus.

Java Backend Developer

As a Java Backend Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of an application managing financial statements referential data. You will be responsible for designing backend solutions, ensuring data exposure, and supporting the delivery of high-quality and scalable applications.

Build side:

• Design, secure and scale backend architectures.

• Develop backend solutions using Java 21 and the Spring framework.

• Implement data exposure solutions through APIs.

• Work with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL queries.

• Industrialize solutions according to CI/CD and software development best practices.
