Datamentors, a robotics startup, seeks a hands-on IT/DevOps professional to keep our distributed infrastructure running—from developer laptops to cloud workloads and factory devices.

You will manage Linux systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), security hygiene, and onboarding/offboarding processes while supporting rapid growth from Madeira.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in IT administration or DevOps in a fast-moving tech company.
• Hands-on with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with MDM tools, identity providers, and zero-trust networking.
• Comfortable with Python or Bash scripting for automation.
• Based in Madeira.

Responsabilidades

• Keep Datamentors' infrastructure running – laptops, networking, access control, MDM, and SaaS tooling.
• Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for development and production workloads.
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure incidents and security alerts.
• Support the factory with industrial networking, device management, and connectivity.
• Own IT onboarding/offboarding and security hygiene processes.

ABOUT DATAMENTORS

Datamentors is a robotics start-up building an agnostic orchestration platform and a family of proprietary robots — quadruped, mobile upper-body and humanoid — assembled at our own factory in Caniçal, Madeira. We also develop custom Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that give our robots natural-language reasoning and autonomy, deployable across sectors from hospitality and healthcare to defence and logistics. With prototypes running and a clear path to 600 units per year, the engineers joining now will shape both the hardware and the intelligence behind Ardia for years to come.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Keep Datamentors' infrastructure running — from developer laptops and factory floor devices to the cloud systems that power Ardia. You will be the person everyone calls when something is broken, and the person who makes sure it breaks as rarely as possible.
