Zühlke Group in Porto, Portugal, seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead internal projects end-to-end, from shaping through handover into operation. You will plan, coordinate and steer cross‑domain teams to transform business needs into working IT solutions.
You will establish effective ways of working, apply iterative and agile practices where suitable, drive progress, and ensure governance and transparent reporting. English is essential; German is a plus.
Founded in Switzerland in 1968, Zühlke is owned by its partners and located across Europe and Asia. We are a global transformation partner, with engineering and innovation in our DNA. We're trusted to help clients envision and build their businesses for the future – to run smarter today while adapting for tomorrow’s markets, customers, and communities. Our multidisciplinary teams specialise in tech strategy and business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering. We excel in complex, regulated spaces including health and finance, connecting strategy, tech implementation, and operational services to help clients become more effective, resilient businesses.
If you share our values and want to do the best work, for the right reasons, we can offer you the chance to do it on a global scale and play a real role in shaping our exciting journey.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Project Manager to deliver our internal IT projects end-to-end, from shaping through to the handover into operation. As part of the IT Project Services (ITPS) domain within the IT Service & Project Management (ITSPM) area, you take ownership of project delivery: planning, coordinating and steering cross-domain teams to turn business needs into working IT solutions.
You establish an effective way of working for your project team, using iterative and agile practices where appropriate and adapting the delivery approach to the needs of the initiative. You actively drive projects forward, create clarity where requirements or responsibilities are unclear, bring the right people together to make decisions, and escalat.
You keep projects transparent, on track and well governed, and you bring stakeholders, partners and suppliers along the way. You report to the Domain Lead IT Project Services.
If you feel you don't meet all the requirements, we are still happy to get to know you, learn more about your ambitions and ideas and look forward to receiving your application!
We welcome people from all backgrounds, regardless of their gender, personality, national origin, race, religion, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, disability or veteran status.
