We are looking for an analytical and communicative IT Business Analyst to bridge business and IT and to help our internal IT projects succeed. As part of the IT Project Services (ITPS) domain within the IT Service & Project Management (ITSPM) area, you bring stakeholders together, shape the scope, and ensure a clean flow of business requirements into the project team. You elicit and analyse business and user needs, model business processes, and translate them into clear requirements and functional concepts, working with technical specialists to shape appropriate solutions. Working closely with our Project Managers and delivery teams in Azure DevOps, you turn business needs into clear, well-structured requirements that teams can build. You report to the Domain Lead IT Project Services.
You accompany innovative and challenging internal IT projects to success, acting as the link between business, IT, partners and suppliers. You help turn business needs and ideas into well-understood problems and potential initiatives, clarifying objectives, scope, stakeholders, dependencies and expected outcomes before delivery starts. You bring stakeholders from different areas together, define and shape the scope with them, and secure the flow of business requirements into the project team. You elicit and analyse the needs of the business and users, model business processes, and develop concepts and solution designs. You work with the project team to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements, ensuring they remain aligned with the intended business outcomes. You structure and maintain clear, prioritised requirements and backlogs, working closely with Project Managers and delivery teams throughout implementation. You help translate approved demand into clearly scoped, deliverable projects, contributing to Demand Management where needed. You communicate clearly and effectively, making complex problems and solutions understandable to different audiences.
You have a technical university degree or equivalent knowledge and experience gained in practice. You bring several years of project experience, ideally as a Business Analyst. You work in an analytical, structured and pragmatic way; you see the big picture, keep the overview, find solutions to complex problems and communicate them effectively. You are familiar with relevant business analysis and requirements engineering methods, such as process modelling, requirements modelling, story mapping and backlog management, and can apply them pragmatically depending on the context. You are independent, flexible and proactive, and you feel comfortable in interdisciplinary teams. You can communicate confidently in English in our international environment; German language skills are a plus. To be considered for this role, you must be based in Portugal or Serbia.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, regardless of their gender, personality, national origin, race, religion, colour, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, disability or veteran status.
