Job summary

Qualifications

We are currently looking for an IT Platform Engineer to join an international technology project focused on infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and platform modernization. The main challenge will be to develop, maintain, and evolve highly automated cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, availability, and operational efficiency through DevOps and platform engineering practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field;


• At least 5 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer;


• Solid experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and hybrid cloud environments;


• Proven experience with AWS, namely EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, and Lambda;


• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK;


• Experience in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck;


• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs to automate infrastructure processes;


• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices;


• Experience provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure;


• Ability to modernize legacy environments and optimize performance, costs, and operational reliability;


• Experience implementing security, scalability, and availability best practices;


• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and guidelines;


• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in international environments;


• High degree of autonomy, critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability;


• Ability to adapt to new technologies and a focus on continuous improvement;

• Hybrid — Lisbon.


• €2,100–€2,300 gross per month. Includes all applicable remuneration components: fixed pay, variable pay, meal allowance, remote-work allowance, and benefits.
