Horizon Financial Services in Funchal, Portugal is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee all IT operations, policies, and security. This contract role requires leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management of hardware, software, networks, and data protection.

You will mentor the team, coordinate upgrades, and ensure compliance with security protocols while communicating effectively with stakeholders in English and Portuguese where possible.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an IT management role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and security systems.
• Experience with data security protocols and disaster recovery planning.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Oversee IT operations including hardware, software, networks and security.
• Ensure data security and backup protocols are in place.
• Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Plan and oversee technology upgrades and implementations.
• Stay current with technology advancements to keep systems efficient.
• Mentor and train team members on new technologies and best practices.
