Job summary

RapidFix Services in Funchal, Madeira, is seeking an IT Manager to oversee all IT systems and infrastructure under a contract role. Based in Funchal, you will lead hardware, software, networks, and data security while aligning IT with business goals.

Ideal candidates have a computer science degree, at least two years in IT leadership, and experience with cloud services; English fluency is required, Portuguese a plus. Training offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 2 years of IT management experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, security, and databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven experience in project management and implementing new technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing services is a plus.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all data and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
