Job summary

Nordea Asset Management is seeking an Investment Proposal Specialist to join the Institutional & Wholesale Distribution (IWD) Investment Products RFP team. You will craft high-quality responses to RFPs and DDQs and coordinate input across NAM to win client mandates globally.

The role blends writing, analytics and stakeholder management, with exposure to sales, product managers and investment specialists, and opportunities to contribute to AI-driven efficiencies in RFP processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience within asset management or financial services.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex investment topics.
• Strong interest in asset management and financial markets.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards.
• Comfortable learning and working with new tools and systems and able to identify opportunities to use AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage internal clients (sales, Country Heads) and stakeholders (portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, senior management, etc.) to ensure a smooth RFP delivery process and issue management.
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of NAM’s investment capabilities and product offering.

About this opportunity

You will join the IWD Investment Products RFP team, part of the Nordea Asset Management distribution organisation.

The team is responsible for managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from institutional and wholesale clients worldwide. The function is a key component of IWD’s business growth and business retention activities. The role offers broad exposure across the organisation, working closely with sales teams, product managers, investment specialists and other key stakeholders across NAM.

What you’ll be doing

As an Investment Proposal Specialist, you will:

• Prepare and coordinate high-quality and timely responses to RFPs and DDQs for institutional and wholesale clients;
• Collaborate closely with sales, product management, investment boutiques, data teams, and other stakeholders across NAM;
• Ensure responses are accurate while being impactful;Contribute to the continuous improvement of RFP processes, tools and content frameworks with a focus on AI-driven efficiencies;
• Proactively manage your internal clients (sales, Country Heads) and stakeholders (portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, senior management, etc.) in order to ensure a smooth RFP delivery process and issue management;
• Build and maintain a strong understanding of NAM’s investment capabilities and product offering;

Develop expertise in areas such as:

• Asset management and fund strategies
• Sustainability and ESG integration
• Risk and performance metrics
• Financial instruments and markets
• GIPS composites and regulatory requirements.
