Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Business Management Analyst to join the Institutional and Wholesale Distribution (IWD) team in Portugal. You will support data management, analysis, and reporting to enable data-driven decisions at senior leadership level.

Based in Lisbon, you will produce reporting, dashboards, and market insights, interfacing with Sales, Finance, and CRS. The role blends analytics with business understanding in asset management and offers hybrid work after an initial on-site period.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Query.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL and data-oriented languages is a plus (Python, C#).
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Produce Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports and ensure quality in IWD Management reporting.
• Interface between Sales, Finance and CRS to troubleshoot flows, reallocation and fees.
• Provide ad-hoc holdings and sales analysis to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to the RFP/DDQ process with cross-functional teams.
• Support operational improvements leveraging automation and technology.
• Develop Market Intelligence to support senior management and Sales teams.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Institutional and Wholesale Distribution activities, ensuring efficient data management, analysis, and reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Produce Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports and ensure quality in the production of Institutional and Wholesale Distribution (IWD) Management reporting;
• Act as the interface between Sales, Finance and CRS to troubleshoot flows reallocation and fees;
• Providing ad-hoc holdings and sales analysis to different stakeholders;
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making;
• Act as a contributor to the RFP/DDQ process, collaborating cross-functionally with Investment Product Teams;
• Support theimplementation of operational improvement leveraging automation and technology where possible;
• Develop Market Intelligence capabilities to support senior management and the Sales teams.

It's expected you to work 100% on-site in the first 6 months (with flexibility) and after on an Hybrid regime (3 days in the Office + 2 days from home).

Your profile and background

Your experience and background

• Good understanding of asset management processes and workflows (e.G. Fees, Value of AuM, Value of Flows);
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis;
• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field from a university;
• Fluency in English, both written and oral;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel, Power Query);
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus;
• Familiaritywith SQL. Any data oriented language is a plus (Python, C#);
• Familiaritywith CRM systems (e.G. Salesforce).
