About this opportunity

Welcome to the Investment Services Team. We add value by being a reliable partner to multiple stakeholders in the Investment Products and Solutions team through a range of services. These services range from, for instance, handling client product requests to maintenance of marketing documents. As a Senior Specialist in the Investment Services Team, you will have an important role in supporting IWD’s investment operations, ensuring their smooth execution and aiding in reaching business objectives.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage essential product data processes to facilitate smoother reporting and analysis.
• Provide research and competitor analysis support to Investment Specialists.
• Support the planning and execution of diverse deliveries to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Assist in the creation and optimization of processes to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with Investment Specialists on the maintenance of commercial and marketing documents such as product presentations (including compliance) and investment commentaries.
• Ensure your deliverables align with Nordea’s guidelines and standards, adhering to both European and local regulations

You’ll join a multilingual team of investment services professionals while working in an inspiring, multicultural, and creative environment with a Nordic touch. The role is based in Oeiras and may require some travel from time to time. You will report directly to the Oeiras-based Head of Investment Product Services.

Your experience and background:

• A university degree in finance, economics or related studies such as CFA or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years’ professional experience especially in the Asset Management industry.

• A collaborative coworker with solid interpersonal skills: curious and positive personality, professionally curious, attentive to detail, motivated nature, easy to work with, and cooperative.
• Advanced skills in written and spoken English; Portuguese or any other language will be considered an additional asset.
