FutureHire in Almada is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes.

You will calibrate instruments, develop testing procedures, and collaborate with engineers to keep downtime low and production high. A high school diploma and at least 2 years of industrial experience are required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and measurement principles.
• Familiarity with various types of instrumentation including pressure transmitters, level switches, thermocouples.

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Almada As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for the installation maintenance and repair of various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes Your main goal will be to ensure that all instruments are functioning correctly and efficiently minimizing downtime and maximizing production output

Responsibilities

• Install calibrate troubleshoot and repair instruments such as flow meters pressure gauges temperature sensors and control valves
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Develop testing procedures for new or existing instruments
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement new instrument systems
• Keep detailed records of all work performed on each instrument
• Respond quickly to emergency situations that may arise with instrument malfunctions
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in instrument technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and measurement principles
• Familiarity with various types of instrumentation including pressure transmitters level switches thermocouples etc
• Proficient in reading technical diagrams schematics and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary

We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1300$ per month The exact amount will depend on your qualifications and experience
