JobLeader in Funchal is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair industrial instruments and control systems. Your main goal is to ensure the proper functioning and accuracy of these instruments to improve operational efficiency and safety.

You will read technical manuals and schematics, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair instruments, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose issues.

Qualificações

• Experience as Instrument Technician or similar role.

Our company a leading industrial services provider in Funchal is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various types of industrial instruments and control systems Your main goal will be to ensure the proper functioning and accuracy of these instruments to improve operational efficiency and safety

Responsibilities

• Install calibrate troubleshoot and repair various types of industrial instruments such as pressure gauges flow meters thermocouples and level sensors
• Read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure they are functioning properly
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose complex instrument issues
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment
• Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in order to make recommendations for improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation principles and techniques
• Familiarity with electrical codes standards and safety practices
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Good physical stamina as the job may involve standing for long periods of time or lifting heavy objects

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation Technology or a related field is preferred but not required
• Relevant certification from a recognized technical institute is a plus

Salary

We offer a competitive salary starting at $1400 per month based on skills and experience
