AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments. You will drive automation, tooling, and incident management to keep services reliable and scalable.

The role emphasizes observability, proactive capacity planning, and onboarding new clients while collaborating across teams. Strong Linux, Cloud experience, and 4+ years in Kubernetes are required with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes in production for 4+ years, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Experience debugging complex systems from app to infra layers.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS).
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Use observability tooling; keep runbooks and docs up to date.
• Lead end-to-end incident management including RCAs.
• Onboard and support new clients on the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience of at least 4 years operating Kubernetes in production, ideally with Service Mesh.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Confident debugging and troubleshooting complex systems, from the application layer through to lower-level infrastructure.
• Experience working with a public cloud provider, preferably Azure or AWS.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo is a plus.
• Scripting or coding in Python or Java is a strong plus.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Helm or Terraform is a plus.
• Financial services background is not required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private cloud environments.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure alerts are actionable through up-to-date runbooks and documentation.
• Manage incidents from end-to-end, including incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling that cuts manual effort and evaluates performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity so the platform scales with demand.
