Job summary

Pixel Innovations in Almada, Portugal is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to safeguard company networks and systems. You will plan, implement and monitor security measures, conduct regular assessments and respond to breaches to protect sensitive information.

You will develop security policies, perform vulnerability tests, monitor threats, and collaborate across teams to ensure regulatory compliance while training staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years as Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Knowledge of networks, encryption, firewalls and IDS.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and SQL databases.
• Nessus or similar vulnerability scanners is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Monitor network activity for potential security threats.
• Investigate and respond to reported security incidents.
• Stay up-to-date with security trends and vulnerabilities.
