Pixel Innovations in Almada, Portugal is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to safeguard company networks and systems. You will plan, implement and monitor security measures, conduct regular assessments and respond to breaches to protect sensitive information.

You will develop security policies, perform vulnerability tests, monitor threats, and collaborate across teams to ensure regulatory compliance while training staff on best practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 3+ years as Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Knowledge of networks, encryption, firewalls and IDS.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and SQL databases.
• Nessus or similar vulnerability scanners is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Almada Portugal As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for safeguarding our companys computer networks and systems Your main duties will include planning implementing and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive information conducting regular security assessments and responding to any security breaches

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data and infrastructure


• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing


• Monitor network activity for any potential security threats


• Investigate and respond to any reported security incidents


• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities


• Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations


• Provide training to employees on best practices for information security

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field


• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role 3+ years


• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols encryption techniques firewalls and intrusion detection systems


• Familiarity with common operating systems Windows Linux and databases SQL


• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools eg Nessus is a plus


• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills


• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting


• Fluency in English Portuguese is a plus
