Job summary

AlSafe Finance Kuwait is seeking an Instrument Technician for our Porto, Portugal location. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation equipment used in industrial settings, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, read schematics, and work both independently and with a team. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of 1500$, and requires visa holder status for Portugal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation equipment such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and control valves
• Troubleshoot technical issues with instrumentation equipment and determine the root cause of malfunctions
• Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments and identify potential problems
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed on instrumentation equipment
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in instrumentation equipment
