ECCO Sko A/S in Portugal is seeking an Automation Engineer to support the development and continuous improvement of our production and robotics systems. You will develop, maintain, and optimize automation software to ensure the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment.

Key tasks include PLC and HMI software development, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production, quality, and safety requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as specified in the requirements.
• At least 2 years of PLC programming experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Develop new PLC and HMI software to control production machinery and automation systems.
• Maintain and optimize existing software to improve performance and reliability of machines.
• Investigate and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on production equipment and robotics systems.
• Research and evaluate new automation technologies to support continuous improvement.
• Support the implementation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and software updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet production, quality, and safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to automation software and control systems.
