Amadeus is seeking an Implementation Project Principal Specialist to lead complex deployments and strategic workstreams. You will provide technical and delivery leadership, mentor project teams and support business growth through feasibility assessments, sizing and pre-sales activities.

Summary

The Principal Implementation Specialist leads complex implementation projects and strategic workstreams. The role provides technical and delivery leadership, mentors project teams and supports business growth through feasibility assessments, implementation sizing and pre-sales activities. The position operates with significant autonomy and regularly engages senior management stakeholders.

In This Role You Will

• Lead complex implementations and strategic workstreams.


• Drive delivery strategy, execution planning, governance and escalation management.


• Support feasibility studies, assessments and implementation sizing activities.


• Support pre-sales and customer proposal activities with delivery expertise.


• Influence scope, delivery approach and risk mitigation through credible implementation input.


• Mentor Project Leads and Specialists and support capability development.


• Lead internal improvement programs, delivery standards and knowledge management initiatives.


• Represent implementation teams in senior stakeholder forums.


• Strong customer and internal stakeholder management skills.

About The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience leading complex implementation projects, with strong project management and delivery leadership capabilities.


• Strong technical background with expertise in systems integration, application lifecycle management, governance, testing coordination, and impacted application landscapes.


• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels through excellent communication, reporting, stakeholder management, and senior leadership engagement skills.


• Experience supporting feasibility assessments, implementation sizing, delivery planning, and risk management to ensure successful project outcomes.


• A collaborative professional with a strong business and product mindset, proven mentoring and coaching experience, and a track record of driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
