Qualifications

• Automotive/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive workshops, with hands-on mechanic skills.
• Strong background in automotive mechanics and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Follow compliance rules and maintain registration records in information systems.
• Manage automotive warranty claims and contract coverage.
• Check admissibility of requests and notify decisions to customers/work partners.
• Coordinate with departments by phone and by email as needed.
• Ensure quality, security and risk controls per established procedures.
• Support knowledge sharing and maintain good working relations within the team and with partners.

BE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC TEAM OF EXTENDED WARRANTY MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL TEAM This Team based in Porto was created to extend the operation of our Client, ICARE, to the European market. ICARE is leader in the French market for warranty in the automobile field and aims to project this experience to the European market through our platform.

Today German and Italian are our main markets, but we have already started the operation in Spain, Portugal and Check Republic.

Our main activities consist of providing operational and administrative support for dealer warranty, extended warranty and maintenance contracts by handling authorization requests or contract management requests for multiple products depending on the country and partner, all from the same platform and location.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN EWM TEAM Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Follow compliance rules;
• Ensure proper registration records in the information systems;
• Manage automotiveclaim repair following contract coverage;
• Check the admissibility of requests;
• Contact by phone all departments needed;
• Contact by mail all departments needed;
• Analyze records and check insurability and the financial risk based on their knowledge and tools to support the decision in accordance with the procedures and the rules of delegation;
• Notify the decisions to customers and/or business partners;
• Ensure administrative management of all operations prearranged;
• Ensure compliancewith established standards of quality, security and control operations and risk management as defined in the working procedures;
• Guarantee a healthy team spirit;
• Demonstrate a professional response to stress;
• Guarantee the continuity and stability of team;
• Propose improvements to working methods and assist in the implementation of these improvements;
• Be source of proposals and suggestions to improve daily work;
• Ensure the feedback to the hierarchy and alert when necessary;
• Contribute to theproper functioning of the team, particularly in terms of knowledge sharing and maintenance of good working relations between the teams, customers and suppliers;
• Ensure compliancewith professional secrecy data confidentiality;
• Contribute to thedevelopment of the spirit of service ETO.

Is open to all degrees or higher education in any of the following subjects:

• Automobile, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• Automotive or Diagnostic Technician ;
• Entry without a degree or foundation degree is possible for those who have relevant skills and work experience in automotive workshops. Experience is highly valued.
• Strong background in automotive mechanics (Degree and / or after-sales training are mandatory);
• Experience: at least one year of experience in a car or truck repair shop, preferably in a manufacturer's network.
