Hiire is supporting a leading global mobility company in search of an experienced IAM Service Owner to join its Cyber Defense organization in Lisbon. You will take ownership of a globally deployed Identity and Access Management platform, coordinating with teams to ensure secure and efficient identity services.

This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of IAM principles. The salary range is between €48,000 and €64,000 annually, plus additional benefits such as health insurance and performance bonuses.

At Hiire, we are supporting a leading global mobility company in the search for an experienced IAM Service Owner to join its Cyber Defense organization. You will join the Cyber Defense Center, a global team responsible for protecting confidential data, ensuring system integrity, and safeguarding the availability of critical information assets. The team plays a vital role in securing products, services, customers, suppliers, and internal business operations by building and maintaining robust cybersecurity capabilities across the organization.

You will play a key role in defining the IAM strategy, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient identity services across the business.

What you'll be doing

• Own and govern a globally deployed Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, ensuring alignment with security standards and business objectives.
• Review, maintain, and continuously improve IAM policies, standards, and best practices.
• Define and execute the IAM roadmap in collaboration with business, security, and technology stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional operations and development teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Review and approve change requests, validating testing documentation and implementation quality.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize IAM‑related initiatives, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, including financial, security, and compliance audits.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across IAM processes, technologies, and governance.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience managing IAM solutions within complex, global enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles, frameworks, and technologies.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
• Experience managing priorities across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Knowledge of audit processes, compliance requirements, and security governance frameworks, ideally within regulated industries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at different organizational levels.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, CyberArk, Ping Identity, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with concepts such as SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, IGA, Zero Trust, and identity governance.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or IAM-related certifications.
