Job summary

EY Portugal is seeking a Service Designer – Consultant to join EY Studio+ and contribute to human-centered service and digital product experiences. You will apply design thinking across multidisciplinary projects, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, and develop deliverables like personas and customer journeys.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in service design, fluency in Portuguese and English, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup in Lisbon or Porto.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Communication or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in Service Design, CX, User Research or related discipline.
• Solid understanding of Service Design and Design Thinking principles.
• Experience with qualitative research (interviews, workshops, ethnographic research).
• Experience with quantitative research (surveys, NPS, VOC).
• Ability to create Service Design deliverables (personas, journeys, blueprints, prototypes).
• Portfolio with relevant project work and design thinking deliverables.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Available for hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto.

Responsibilities

• Apply Service Design and Design Thinking across multidisciplinary projects.
• Conduct qualitative research (interviews, focus groups, surveys, workshops, ethnographic research, market analysis).
• Analyze customer, user and business insights to identify opportunities for service innovation.
• Create service design deliverables (personas, journeys, blueprints, maps, reports, prototypes).
• Support design and validation of service concepts through iterative processes.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement with clients and teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Consultants, Strategists, Developers and stakeholders.
• Monitor trends, methodologies and best practices in CX and service design.
• Contribute to high-quality project outcomes and EY Studio+ standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
