ITDS in Lisbon is seeking a Mid-Level Network Security Engineer to join a hybrid work team focused on production IT security. You will operate on firewall management, NSX-T/VCF9, and micro-segmentation within a banking sector environment.

You will diagnose issues, optimize firewall rules, and coordinate with IT teams while adhering to ITIL processes and SLAs, ensuring high availability and compliance across security infrastructure.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in network security within IT production operations.
• Hands-on experience with NSX-T / VCF9, Palo Alto and Fortinet, including coding and implementing firewall security rules and micro-segmentation.
• Practical experience with incident and change management aligned with ITIL.
• Experience in firewall rule optimization and automation.
• Experience working to SLAs and quality-of-service targets.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose malfunctions, clear flow blockages and ensure high availability of security infrastructure per SLAs.
• Implement, code, maintain and optimize firewall policies and segmentation rules.
• Act as SME for network security; provide guidance, training and alerts, verify IT security standards.
• Handle incidents, requests and changes end to end, maintaining documentation.
• Interface with technical experts across IT and infrastructure teams.
