Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking an experienced IMS specialist to lead end-to-end technical delivery for IMS projects from inception to handover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment with customer requirements and project timelines.

The role requires strong IMS expertise, familiarity with Nokia IMS is a plus, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Proven IMS deployment, integration, maintenance and upgrades experience.
• Strong knowledge of IMS architecture, network functions and SIP/Diameter interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end IMS projects aligned with customer requirements, scope, timelines and quality standards.
• Define and execute IMS deployment, integration and upgrade strategies considering dependencies and compatibility.
• Support Project Manager with planning, resource management and technical delivery coordination.
