Job summary

Itds Portugal is seeking a Senior Electronic FX Trading Business Analyst to drive enhancements for electronic FX platforms from the Porto office. You will collaborate with front-office teams, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and guide testing and deployments.

You bring 8+ years in financial markets, strong SQL/Unix skills, and a propensity for Python scripting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial markets with FX and electronic trading.
• Proficiency in SQL and Unix; ability to investigate system issues.
• Strong communication with technical and front-office stakeholders.
• Experience in agile environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and implementation of FX trading enhancements.
• Collaborate with front office, developers and stakeholders.
• Investigate issues using logs, SQL queries, and Python scripting.
• Apply agile principles to improve processes and updates.
• Document business requirements and coordinate testing.
• Maintain deep knowledge of FX markets and electronic platforms.
• Act as SME and manage projects with strategic insights.
