Job summary

act digital is seeking a Data & Analytics Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability of cloud-based data processing and analytics services. You will build and maintain Azure data and analytics platforms, automate infrastructure, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

You will monitor services, investigate incidents, and work with engineering teams to boost resilience, security, and performance. This hybrid role is based in Lisbon with three days on site in Alfragide.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure operations and SRE practices.
• Strong Terraform and Azure DevOps experience.
• Practical knowledge of data services like Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Azure Monitor.
• Proficient scripting in Python or Bash; Linux and Windows administration.
• Knowledge of cloud security and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable Azure data and analytics platforms.
• Automate infrastructure and operations using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling.
• Monitor services and investigate incidents at L2/L3.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve resilience, security and performance.
