Emagine is seeking a BI/Data Engineer to join our IT team in Porto, with openness to candidates in Portugal or the UK. You will steward our data warehouse, build robust ETL pipelines, and deliver analytics-ready datasets and dashboards with Power BI.

You’ll collaborate across IT and BI to mature data-driven decision making and support cross‑border projects. You will handle data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources, develop dbt models, and work with Dagster for

Qualificações

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
• Experience with a data warehouse, ideally BigQuery.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar dashboards.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and tools.
• Python for data extraction and transformation scripts.
• Experience with dbt or similar modelling tools.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Dagster, Airflow).
• Proficiency with Git or another VCS.

Responsabilidades

• Manage datawarehouse in BigQuery and ensure data quality.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines from various sources into BigQuery.
• Build and maintain dbt models and documentation.
• Write Python-based ETL connectors from APIs and databases.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualisation assets.
• Coordinate with IT and BI teams to shape project roadmaps.
• Respond to data-related queries and troubleshoot datasets.
