Closer Consulting is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Control Officer to join in a hybrid role based in Porto or Lisbon. You will manage cyber risk across IT projects and production, designing secure architectures and advising teams on security requirements.

The role emphasizes cloud and container security, alignment with ISO/NIST standards, and continuous improvement using AI-driven tools. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in cyber security, with at least 4 years in security architecture or

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or related field.
CISSP certification is mandatory; additional certs are highly valued.
Minimum 8 years in cyber security with 4+ in security architecture or advisory roles.
Experience securing large-scale cloud-native environments in financial services.

Responsabilidades

Identify, assess, and prioritize cyber risks across IT projects and production environments.
Design end-to-end security architectures and produce blueprints and baselines.
Advise IT delivery teams and translate security requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Review risk assessments, threat models, and architecture diagrams; define remediation roadmaps.
Lead cloud and container security analyses and define cloud controls and patterns.
Leverage AI/ML tools to improve security review efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct security workshops and contribute to internal knowledge base.
