Job summary

MysticInvest is seeking a Human Resources Specialist in Porto to lead training and development initiatives. You will design programs, assess needs, and manage the learning records under the HR Director.

The role also covers career development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, HR analytics, and employee engagement. A Bachelor’s in HRM/Business, 3 years HR Training experience, fluent English, strong communication and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, business administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR Training and Development.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels.

Human Resources Specialist - Training & Development Department (m/f)

In 2019, MysticInvest strengthened its internationalization strategy with the launch of Mystic Cruises, a company dedicated to ocean cruises that aims to have a fleet of 10 expedition cruise ships in operation over the next decade. You will report directly to the company’s HR Director and have the following key responsibilities:

Training:

• Develop and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels;
• Conduct training needs assessments and create customized learning plans;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and provide recommendations for improvement;
• Manage the learning management system and maintain training records.

Career Development and Group Compensation and Benefits:

• Support the implementation of career development initiatives;
• Assist in creating and maintaining job descriptions and career plans;
• Contribute to the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs;
• Conduct salary surveys and market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.

Performance Evaluation:

• Assist with and monitor the annual performance evaluation process;
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance evaluation procedures;
• Analyze performance data and prepare reports for senior management.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

• Collect and analyze HR metrics related to training, development, and performance;
• Prepare regular reports on key HR indicators for management review;
• Identify trends and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Development:

• Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives;
• Assist in creating internal communications related to HR programs and policies;
• Contribute to the organization of employee recognition events and programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 3 years of experience in Human Resources Training and Development;
• Fluency in English (mandatory);
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
