Pebl, a global on-demand HR platform, seeks an experienced Human Resources Specialist to manage onboarding and offboarding for employees and clients across borders. You will advise on benefits, payroll, expense reporting, and HR matters while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

The role requires 4–6 years HR experience, fluent Brazilian Portuguese, and professional English. This hybrid position is based in Lisbon or remotely in the region, with a focus on compliance

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Hybrid role; reside in Medellín, Colombia, or Lisbon, Portugal.
  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and professional English.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for supported employees with global teams and providers.
  • Provide expert HR support to clients on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters.
  • Manage client relationships with the client services team.
  • Drive employee satisfaction with a customer-service mindset.
  • Maintain quick onboarding timelines and SLA resolution.
  • Assist in training new team members.
  • Audit HR records and ensure compliance with local employment law.
  • Collaborate with regional teams on knowledge base maintenance and product development.
  • Identify issues and perform root cause analysis for proper resolution.
  • Support other duties as assigned in a high-growth environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to focus on seamless onboarding and offboarding for both supported employees and clients/customers.The role requires strong communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and a professional, highly organized, and detail-minded demeanor. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of employment law, be a self-starter, and consistently deliver an accurate, high-quality customer experience. This position involves efficiently managing HR data, building positive relationships, and providing expert guidance on HR matters.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Coordinate all aspects of onboarding and offboarding for supported employees, collaborating closely with global internal teams (Immigration, Payroll) and external service providers.

  • Provide expert-level support to our clients, managing client queries and advising on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters acting as a regional expert.

  • Manage client relationships in conjunction with members of the client services team

  • Drive employee satisfaction amongst our supported employees with sincerity and passion, always with a customer service mindset

  • Drive client satisfaction through quick onboarding timelines and always maintaining our resolution time SLA

  • Assist in training new members on your team

  • Manage and audit all HR records, including personal information, onboarding and offboarding documents, personal documents, contract documents, and job-specific information

  • Ensure compliance with the local employment law in every process and notify proper points of contact of any rectification needs

  • Be aware of applicable Collective Agreements and partner with required teams to ensure compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams who require regional-specific expertise (examples include but are not limited to Knowledge Base maintenance and Product Development)

  • Anticipate and identify potential issues, assist in the root cause analysis, and raise it to the concerned teams while ensuring proper resolution

  • Other duties as assigned… as a high-growth company, we embrace supporting ALL areas of the business

Let’s Connect If You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience

  • 4-6 years of Human Resources experience required

  • This is a hybrid role; candidates must currently reside in either Medellín, Colombia, or Lisbon, Portugal

  • Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese required

  • Professional proficiency in English required

  • Research-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to quickly assimilate information

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and listening skills

  • Tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

  • Experience collaborating with Product teams is desirable

  • Eagerness to participate in automation and process-improvement projects

  • Experience working with ticketing systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly and professional demeanor

  • Good organizational skills

  • Conflict handling and resolution skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and practical experience with Brazilian labor laws and regulations

  • Empathy and an approachable demeanor

  • Attentiveness and honesty

  • Interest in international business and contributing at a consistently high level

  • Nice to have: previous experience working within EOR or HR Outsourcing

  • Nice to have: previous experience working through CRM systems
